Trump Approves Firing Squad Execution for Fort Hood Shooter

President Donald Trump has approved the execution by firing squad of Nidal Malik Hasan, the former US Army officer convicted of the 2009 Fort Hood mass shooting that killed 13 people and wounded 32. The move would revive military executions, which have not occurred since 1961. Hasan can still appeal in civilian courts.
