CJP protest in Kochi demands withdrawal of SIR, CEC resignation

Around 500 activists joined a CJP rally at Marine Drive in Kochi on Saturday, led by actor Prakash Raj, demanding withdrawal of the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls and resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. CJP founder Abhijith Dipke said the campaign would continue until an independent and impartial electoral system is ensured. DYFI state president Chintha Jerome also joined the march.
