Avalanche on Mount Manaslu Kills Two Climbers

An Indian-German climber and his Nepali Sherpa guide died after an avalanche struck their tent at Camp 3 on Mount Manaslu, the world's eighth-highest peak, on Saturday night. The two had advanced from Camp 2 despite bad weather. Their bodies were found under about seven feet of snow. This season's death toll on Manaslu has risen to four.
