Annamalai Rejects Periyar's Anti-Brahmin Stance, Eyes Political Party

K Annamalai, former Tamil Nadu BJP president and founder of the 'We The Leaders' movement, said he accepts Periyar EV Ramasamy's views on women's liberation and caste eradication but completely rejects his atheism and anti-Brahmin stance. Speaking in Madurai, he said his movement is becoming a political party for all communities and would relocate atheistic inscriptions outside temples if elected.
