California-based asteroid-mining company AstroForge plans to launch Autonomy-1, the first space mission to complete its entire mission without ground commands, in early 2027 aboard Stoke Space's Nova Pathfinder rocket. The mission will demonstrate AstroForge's Solo intelligence model, which autonomously coordinates spacecraft functions in real time, in Earth orbit.
