Chief Justice of India Surya Kant on Saturday inaugurated a Victim Rights Centre at the Bihar State Legal Services Authority, criticising a criminal justice process built around the accused and the offence. The centre consolidates compensation, legal, medical, counselling, protection and rehabilitation services. A transgender helpline, booklet and multi-utility vehicle were also launched.
