The Federation of Indian Pilots has asked the civil aviation ministry to nominate it as an independent technical participant in any review of the draft AAIB report on the Air India AI171 crash. The June 12, 2025 Ahmedabad crash killed 260 people. The AAIB says its final report is expected in October.
