SpaceX's Starship megarocket reached orbit for the first time on its 14th test flight on Sept. 28, 2026, then deployed 26 Starlink V3 satellites into low Earth orbit. The 407-foot-tall vehicle, previously limited to suborbital flights, circled Earth about six times over 10 hours. The milestone advances SpaceX's plans for larger Starlink satellites and future Moon and Mars missions.
